I seem to be getting into more and more philosophical discussions with a certain friend of mine. Luckily they haven't gotten anywhere near politics (well....yet).
It's a chance to think over the summer, but it's also distracting me from my equally as philosophical book on the strange loop that makes up the concept of "I." I'm actually almost getting 3/4 of the stuff this guy is saying, which is really exciting because for the mathematical chapters it was about 1/4. I still have about half the book, but as I pretty much get the concept, hopefully it won't be that hard to finish.
Right now, we are debating whether a "gray" area is a positive or negative thing. I'm on the side of positive. I wouldn't be sane (well, as sane as I am now) without relying on a gray area. My friend believes that a black and white world is really the most beneficiary and that the gray area introduces unnecessary factors.
What do you think, Minions? I don't judge.
